WEST LAFAYETTE -- Discussions on cover crops and no-till will be featured during next week’s #AgChat, a conversation on Twitter focused on agricultural topics.
The conversation will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4. A moderator will pose questions to Tweeters participating in #AgChat, who then can talk about their experiences with cover crops and no-till or ask questions about the practices.
The questions that the moderator uses are sent in before #AgChat and will be accepted until Monday. To send in a question, send in a direct message to @agchat over twitter. To participate, you must have a Twitter account, but you do not need one to view the conversation.
Each week, #AgChat features an agricultural topic, from agriculture advocacy to genetically modified organisms. Moderators pose questions to the audience, who begin a discussion on each one.
The Conservation Cropping Systems Initiative (CCSI) in Indiana and the Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) will be participating in #agchat under @ccsi_in and @ctic_tweet.
To participate in the conversation, go to www.tweetchat.com and enter #agchat as the “room.” The site http://twubs.com/agchat also can be used for tweeters familiar with the process of #agchat.
For more information on how to participate, visit http://agchat.org/agchat-foodchat.
