GREENSBURG – The last Decatur County Winter Farmers’ Market will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, at the City Hall gymnasium.
“We have extended out typical season to last an extra month because, well, why not?” said Sarah Robinson of Main Street Greensburg.
Those attending the winter market can expect to find baked goods, jams, handmade items, fresh eggs and meat. The winter market is a great opportunity to do some pre-Easter shopping. WIC and SNAP credits are accepted at the markets as well.
The Junk in the Trunk event will be in the City Hall parking lot during the Winter Farmers’ Market. For those unfamiliar with the event, Junk in the Trunk is a yard sale where people sell items out of the trunks of their vehicles. The money raised from each sale’s registration fees is donated to a different charitable organization. This time, they have chosen Main Street Greensburg.
Anyone interested in becoming a Junk in the Trunk vendor should contact Sharon Herbert at 812-663-6970 or Judy Imel at 812-662-7158 to register or get more information.
