Sugar Ridge Fish and Wildlife Area is offering the Indiana Hunter Education Course open to the public. There is no charge for the course.
The dates for the course are the following:
June 23: 9 to 11:30 a.m.
June 24: 9 to11:30 a.m.
June 26: 9 to 11:30 a.m.
June 27: 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Attendance each day is required for certification.
This course will meet the requirements for hunters born after Dec.31, 1986 that need a certification before they can purchase a hunting license.
The course will be held at the Sugar Ridge main office located at 2310 East State Road 364 south of Winslow in Pike County.
Please bring writing utensils, refreshments will not be served.
Pre-registration is required.
Limit of 35 student for this class.
