Greensburg — A Decatur County woman claims she was abducted and sexually assaulted by two men in a black pick-up truck Monday night.

According to a press release from the Greensburg Police Department (GPD), an 18-year-old woman told Deputies of the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department (DCSD) she was forced into a truck by two male suspects shortly before 11 p.m. Monday, and driven north on State Road 3. The victim told police she was sexually assaulted during the drive, then dropped off at County Road 700 North and State Road 3.

Last week, a 13-year-old Greensburg girl told police she was picked up by two men in a black truck on her way to school in an alley near Main Street. The victim described the vehicle as a “shiny black Dodge truck with loud exhaust.”

The girl claimed the men touched her inappropriately outside of her clothing as she was driven around before being dropped off at the same location at which she was abducted.

Police are presently investigating both cases and have yet to determine if there is any connection.

The first victim described her assailants as being two men, approximately in their 50s. One man was tall and bald with a mustache; the other was described as having brownish, graying hair with “a big stomach.”

Law enforcement officers are requesting anyone with information contact the GPD’s CID Unit at 812-663-3131.
