Greensburg — Radio Shack has been a long standing business in Greensburg, but in recent years the traffic to its previous location in the Greensburg Crossing shopping center has steadily declined.

About six weeks ago, Radio Shack owner Dan Pacillo decided to move the store to a different location. The new location, on Freeland Road between The Dollar Tree and Subway, appears to be a much better fit for the electronics store. Radio Shack employee Laramy Murphy stated that the new location was working well for the company. He added that business was up- both with new customers, as well as returning customers.

When asked what was different about the new location, Murphy said the other store had so much room that the shelves sometimes looked bare and customers often thought the store was closing. At the new location, Murphy reported there was the same amount of inventory, if not more, and the shelves always look full and attractive. Murphy said customers are finding what they need quickly and easily when they come to the new store. Customers reportedly like the new location as well, stating it is more convenient and easy to find.
