Hickory Creek at Greensburg recognizing volunteers

Greensburg — National Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 21 to 27, 2013, is a time set aside to pay tribute to the many people who give their time and energy to help others.

Hickory Creek at Greensburg plans to honor its volunteers with a special activity scheduled for that week.

The celebration will be our annual Appreciation Banquet at 2 p.m. April 26. There will be many activities during the Banquet. The community is invited to join  the celebration.

“Our volunteers are very special people who, by giving of themselves, help the residents at Hickory Creek at Greensburg continue to be active participants in community life,” said Jim Hobbs, administrator of Hickory Creek at Greensburg. “The staff and residents hope to show the volunteers how much they mean to us with this week of celebration.”
