Fogle retires from Dow

---- — GREENSBURG – Linda Fogle, a 1977 graduate of North Decatur High School, and daughter of Gene and Josephene Fogel of Greensburg, has announced her retirement from Dow Chemical Company, after 32 years of employment.

Linda joined the Elanco Products division of the business as a sales representative in 1981 following completion of her industrial management degree from Purdue University. Following brief stops in both public affairs and market research in the mid-1980s, she was named a product manager in 1988.

From 1990 to 1992, she worked as a compensation analyst as the joint venture came together between Eli Lilly and Dow Chemical. In 1993, Linda transitioned back into the commercial organization as a district sales manager for the Vegetarian Management business unit. In 1997, she served as global compliance manager for operations, then transitioned to human resources manager in 2000.

In 2008, she assumed her current role as global workforce planning director, responsible for growing a global workforce from 5,000 to 8,000 employees in the last five years.

Dr. Dan Kittle, vice president for research and development, commented, “She has transformed a ‘cottage industry’ hiring process into a high performance, reliable partner in our success and in the process had a large impact on shaping the culture of Dow AgroSciences. Our growth strategy has come to life. We will miss her contagious energy and passion.”
