United Fund thanks Davis and Daughters

GREENSBURG – The Decatur County United Fund wishes to express a sincere “Thank You” to Ross Davis and the staff of Davis & Daughters Quick Lube for donating $1,000 towards their goal of $390,000 for the 2013 Decatur County United Fund “Rooted in Decatur County…..Let’s Tend to Our Roots” Campaign.

A Saturday Quick Lube Day was held in late October with $20 per oil change going to benefit the United Fund.

As the DCUF celebrates this year’s “Rooted in Decatur County…..Let’s Tend to Our Roots” campaign, Quick Lube’s $1,000 donation will help ensure quality health and human services are available for everyone in Decatur County. A gift builds strong kids through programs like Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Girl Scouts, and Advocates for Children. A donation makes health services, including the Community Healthcare Clinic and Hospice, readily available. The American Red Cross, Bread of Life food pantry and Meals on Wheels will continue to function thanks to individuals and businesses who donate to the Decatur County United Fund. In all, 22 partners will be funded in 2014.

Cunningham noted, “Davis & Daughters Quick Lube continues to support programs provided by over 22 agencies here in our community that are funded by the Decatur County United Fund. It is businesses like this that can make the most impact in one single donation.”

To make a contribution to the Decatur County United Fund, please mail your donation to: 108 S. Broadway, Suite1, Greensburg, IN 47240.
