The Engineering Management program at Purdue University includes two new ways to earn a Master of Science in Engineering degree. The program, a collaboration between the College of Engineering and the Krannert School of Management, is offering an accelerated track and an additional two-year track.

New Jersey Company Moving to Indiana

New Jersey-based Nextremity Solutions Inc. is in the process of moving its headquarters to Warsaw. The Kosciusko Economic Development Corp. says the orthopedic company will begin with 15 corporate employees at the new location.

Subhed:Findlay to become Lake City Bank CEO

The parent company of Lake City Bank has announced a pending leadership change. David Findlay will become chief executive officer of the bank and Warsaw-based Lakeland Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: LKFN) next year. Current CEO Michael Kubacki will remain chairman of both organizations.

Freedom Academy Inks Deal With Angola

The city of Angola has reached an agreement with a nonprofit training agency. The deal allows the Freedom Academy to use a city-owned building for classes and workshops for manufacturing certifications.

Valpo Joins Teaching Fellows Program

Valparaiso University is the latest school in state to participate in the Woodrow Wilson Indiana Teaching Fellows initiative. Students accepted into the program receive $30,000 toward a master’s program and spend a year teaching in a high-need rural or urban school.
