Airline to build maintenance facility
SkyWest Airlines has announced plans to open a maintenance center at South Bend Airport. The company says the facility will begin operations in a matter of months and create 40 jobs.
Swift Fuels to cut ribbon on facility
Purdue Research Park-based Swift Fuels LLC is planning to cut the ribbon on one new operation and break ground on another. City and company officials will mark the opening of the aviation fuel blending facility Friday and begin construction on a renewable fuels pilot plant the same morning.

Indianapolis-based Bluelock has named Martin Van Buren chief operating officer. The information technology company says Van Buren previously served as a senior vice president for ITT.
OrthoWorx announces joint program
The state’s initiative to support the orthopedic industry is partnering with Grace College in Winona Lake for a Quality in Medical Devices Program. OrthoWorx says the agreement will help fill a talent gap, while addressing industry growth and quality requirements.
