First Christian Church welcomes you Sunday to our worship services at 8 a.m. (traditional) and 10:30 a.m. (contemporary), 425 North Broadway, Greensburg.
Sunday School classes are at 9:30 a.m.
This Sunday, we’ll look at the fourth chapter of The Story - “Deliverance (Moses).” The Story takes specific selections from the NIV scriptures and places them in chronological order so the reader can better understand how God’s story and our story intersects. If you would like to join us in this study, a participant book is recommended. Books for all ages are available at christianbook.com or locally at Rainbow Books. If you would like to catch up on the sermons, recordings are online at www.fccgreensburg.wix.com/home or you can request a CD through the church office. Classes on The Story are available during Sunday School, Wednesday nights, and in small groups. For more information, please call the church office (812-663-8488).
Elev8 classes for children, junior high youth, and adults will meet this Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a meal served for children, junior high youth, and volunteers at 5:45 p.m. Senior high Elev8 classes will meet Sunday night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a meal served at 5:45 p.m. All classes at both sessions will dig deeper into The Story.
Gleaner’s Food Bank will be on the First Christian Church parking lot from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24.
A Spaghetti Dinner supporting the Applachian Mission Trip will follow the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, March 2.
The trip will be May 7 to 11.

Come and support the Kids’ Closet of Decatur County Fundraiser, “ILLUMINATE”! It is a Christian concert at 6 p.m. April 12, at Greensburg Junior High School.

Liberty Baptist Church
Sunday, Feb. 16
Liberty Baptist Church will have Sunday School at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Lesson, “Show Your Faith By Your Works,” will be taken from James 2:14-26; Devotional Reading: Luke 7:1-10; Background Scripture: James 2:14-26. Church Service will begin at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Pastor Robert (Bob) Leitgabel will be bringing the sermon, “The Shrewd Manager” from Luke 16:1-18. Sunday Evening, Feb. 16
Bible Study on I and II Samuel will continue in the Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m.
This week we continue a four-part series on the lesser known parables. This week’s lesson is “The Shrewd Manager” (Luke 16:1-18). Feb. 23 will be The Lowest Seat at the Party,”(Luke 14:7-24), and finally March 2 will be “Lessons From a Fig” (Luke 13:6-9).
On March 16, we will begin a series for lent and Easter that will be six parts and is entitled “The Via Dolorosa –The way of Sorrows” This is a series Pastor Leigabel found and is modifying to present Jesus from the prophesy to the cross.
A reminder that the Son of God movie starts Feb. 28 at Wolf Theatres, and that we are working on an evening to go as a church.

On March 21 the movie God’s not Dead comes out in Columbus. It is the story of a professor who teaches that God is dead and a college student who sets out to prove him wrong. More information on the film can be found at http://godsnotdeadthemovie.com/.
Also coming in April, is “Heaven is for Real,” the story of a 5-year-old boy who goes to heaven and returns to tell what he has seen. Search Heaven is for Real on YouTube to find the trailer. This is also coming to Wolf Theatres.
There are still openings for the Men’s Emmaus walk starting Feb. 20 and the Women’s walk starting Feb. 27. Applications are on the table in the back. Please see Bob or Patti for more information.
