Sunday, Feb. 16
Liberty Baptist Church will have Sunday School at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Lesson, “Show Your Faith By Your Works,” will be taken from James 2:14-26; Devotional Reading: Luke 7:1-10; Background Scripture: James 2:14-26. Church Service will begin at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Pastor Robert (Bob) Leitgabel will be bringing the sermon, “The Shrewd Manager” from Luke 16:1-18. Bible Study on I and II Samuel will continue in the Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m.
This week we continue a four-part series on the lesser known parables. This week’s lesson is “The Shrewd Manager” (Luke 16:1-18). Feb. 23 will be The Lowest Seat at the Party,”(Luke 14:7-24), and finally March 2 will be “Lessons From a Fig” (Luke 13:6-9).
On March 16, we will begin a series for lent and Easter that will be six parts and is entitled “The Via Dolorosa –The way of Sorrows” This is a series Pastor Leigabel found and is modifying to present Jesus from the prophesy to the cross.
A reminder that the Son of God movie starts Feb. 28 at Wolf Theatres, and that we are working on an evening to go as a church.

On March 21 the movie God’s not Dead comes out in Columbus. It is the story of a professor who teaches that God is dead and a college student who sets out to prove him wrong. More information on the film can be found at http://godsnotdeadthemovie.com/.
Also coming in April, is “Heaven is for Real,” the story of a 5-year-old boy who goes to heaven and returns to tell what he has seen. Search Heaven is for Real on YouTube to find the trailer. This is also coming to Wolf Theatres.
