Church Briefs

Sandcreek Baptist Church

Hats off and cheers to the ABY for the wonderful worship service this past Sunday. It was most enjoyable and it’s so good to know the future of our church is in such good, capable hands. Have to give a “shout out” to the Faith Singers, too, for their spirited Christmas song.

Our “calendar” is slowing down, but we’re looking forward to busy times to come. Our Christmas services have been well attended and we’ve enjoyed seeing everyone. Hope you’ll continue to worship with us through the upcoming years.

We still need to support the Edna Martin Christian Center with donations of non-perishable foods. The tubs in the hall are getting full, but there’s room on the floor for more.

Those tubs are a lot like God’s love for us and our families. His love is ever-present and overflowing but there’s always more close by surrounding us. At this time of year be sure to keep the Love of God in your heart, but don’t be afraid to share it with your family, friends and others you meet.
