Elev8 classes for children and junior high youth will meet this Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a meal served for children, junior high youth, and volunteers at 5:45 p.m.

Senior high Elev8 classes will meet Sunday night from 6:30 to 7:30 with a meal served at 5:45 p.m.

Gleaner’s Food Bank will be on the First Christian Church parking lot from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20.

Coming Tuesdays in February to First Christian Church is the RUN FOR GOD 5K (www.RUNFORGOD.com).

Liberty Baptist Church

Sunday, Jan. 12

Liberty Baptist Church will have Sunday School at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

The Lesson, “Living As God’s People,” will be taken from Luke 6:12,13,17-31; Devotional Reading: Matthew 18:21-35; Background Scripture: Luke 6:12-49. Church Service will begin at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Pastor Robert (Bob) Leitabel will be bringing the sermon “Church Vision” from Proverbs 29:18. He will also be sharing some video from the recent mission trip taken to help with Operation Christmas Child, and also a video of a new movie coming Feb. 28, “Son of God.” We welcome all to come and join us for a time of worship, praise, prayer and fellowship. Sunday Evening, Jan. 12

Bible Study on I and II Samuel will resume in the Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m.

January is Decatur County month at month at the Edna Martin Center.

Items needed are non-perishable foodstuffs for pantry and paper products.

A collection box will be in the foyer throughout the month to receive donations.
