Sandcreek Baptist Church

Nov. 11 is Veterans Day and this Sunday, we at Sandcreek will honor those in our congregation who’ve served our country in the past or are now serving. If you have a veteran in your family, live next door to one, or have a friend who served, take time to thank him/her for their service and willingness to leave family and home to assure we and our country remain safe and free. In honor of this special day, you might consider wearing RED, WHITE and BLUE to church to let them know you do remember and honor them.

The Faith Singers will practice, as usual, at 9 a.m., Saturday morning, and the BYF will meet at the church at 6 p.m. Sunday. Remember, they are willing to shop and/or stuff your shoe box for Operation Christmas Child. Just let them know if you want their help/assistance. There are “flat,” decorated boxes on the table in the hallway for you to take/use if you choose. They are easily folded into a finished box/boxes. A few filled boxes have already been placed on the table.

  • Poverty has its advantages I must confess to a severe case of poverty. I never took a vow of poverty; it just seems to have worked out that way for me. I am so poor the church mice have packed their bags and moved on. If I knew where they moved to, I might join them.Being poor
