St. Mary's hosts faith Q and A

Greensburg Daily News

Greensburg — St. Mary's is sponsoring question and answer sessions open to the general public Aug. 2.

This will take place in the church at 7 p.m. These sessions are open to anyone who has questions about Catholicism.

We will share information on a variety of topics: Scripture, religious history and prayer in an atmosphere of fellowship and prayer.

The sessions give those interested a chance to Òcome and see,Ó to ask questions and to hear answers on the above-mentioned subjects.

Registration is not required for the introductory sessions.

Perhaps you have a family member who is not Catholic, but often asks questions about your faith. Maybe you have a friend or acquaintance in the same situation. Or maybe you, yourself, have not been as active in your faith as you would like and have some unanswered questions. All are welcome. Come and join us!

St. Mary's will again be offering the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) classes for those interested in the Catholic faith.

These classes focus on the beliefs and professed faith of our religion. Anyone interested may call the Parish office for more information or to sign up.

Classes begin Thursday evening, Aug. 30.
