Bring a friend and join Oldenburg Academy for alumni homecoming

OLDENBURG – Oldenburg Academy of the Immaculate Conception is excited to welcome back all of its alums Oct. 11, and 12 and encourages all of its alums to attend and bring a friend.

On Friday, Oct. 11, the fifth annual Distinguished Alumni Event will be held at Hillcrest Golf & Country Club beginning at 6 p.m. This year, the Academy is pleased to announce Dr. Mary Strange Robertson, class of 1973, as this year’s recipient.

You are invited to come and celebrate with us as we honor Dr. Robertson. Event cost is $40 per person. Contact Sarah Lamping at slamping@oldenburgacademy.org or 812-934-4440 ext. 240 if you would like to join us.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, the day begins with registration at 9 a.m. in the Sisters’ Parlor. Alums are invited to catch up with classmates and friends for socializing and refreshments in the school cafeteria.

At 11 a.m., Liturgy will be celebrated in the Chapel and the presentation of the Virtue, Honor, and Education Tribute will take place at the conclusion of mass. The Alumni Association Board and Trustees have chosen to recognize Honorary Alumni, Sr. Mary Ammann, OSF with the Virtue, Honor and Education Tribute. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. in the OA gymnasium followed by Alumni Updates & Announcements, campus tours and Aspirant Gathering.
