Liberty Baptist Church

Sunday School will begin at 9:30 a.m. The Thankful Hearts Class lesson, “Giving Gifts for the Temple” will be taken from Ezra 8:24-35. The Devotional Reading coming from: Mark 12: 38-44 and the Background Scripture: Ezra 8:24-36. We welcome all to come join in a wonderful time of sharing and learning. Church Service will be in the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Robert (Bob) Leitgabel bringing the sermon. This week’s sermon starts a series on what the Bible has to say about our human emotions. This week we will cover “Anger,” James 1:19-21, and next week we will discuss “Quarrelling,” Ephesians 4:15-5:2 and James 4:1-12. We welcome all to come join us for a time of worship, praise, prayer and fellowship. The Liberty Baptist Church Congregation would like to officially welcome Pastor, Robert (Bob) Leitgabel as their full-time Pastor. Pastor Leitgabel and his wife, Patti, have raised five daughters, have two grandsons, and one more on the way. Pastor Leitgabel graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Master’s degree in Religion, and was ordained in 2007. He also is a Mechanical Engineer, with a degree from Rose-Hulman. He loves to teach, and would welcome anyone who would like to, to join us and grow as disciples.

Beginning Sept. 1, Liberty Baptist Church will be moving their Sunday School classes to begin at 10 a.m., and their Church Services to begin at 11 a.m. We welcome all to come join us at these new times this fall. May God Bless All.

First Christian Church

First Christian Church welcomes you to our worship services at 8 a.m. (traditional) and 10:30 a.m. (contemporary) each week at 425 North Broadway. Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 a.m.
