A positive minute: L is for Love

(Continued)

Even when we are quick to blame God for our misfortune, He still loves us. God wanted a family, so He created a world including the first humans, Adam and Eve. When they disobeyed His direct command to them, it began the process of a broken relationship between God and humans.

Move forward several centuries and we see that God still wanted a family, so He sent His Son Jesus to this world. After about three and a half years of ministry, Jesus dies for us. He gave His life so that we may have eternal life. Regardless of your church affiliation, the John 3:16 passage from the Holy Bible is relevant for all of us.

Do you know that God really loves you? Yes, He does and if you have never had a relationship with Him, it really isn’t difficult to begin one. After all, He still wants to grow His family and He invites you to this family. Though not perfect, the family of God strives for a continuing relationship with God and as a member of this family, I invite you to accept the offer to become a Christian and discover the new life He has for you.
