Greensburg Wesleyan Church

If you’re timid about visiting a new church, feel you don’t have the “right” clothes to wear, or just don’t want to go to a “stuffy” Sunday morning service, the Greensburg Wesleyan church at 714 W. Main St., Greensburg has just the service for you.

Their non-traditional services on Sunday mornings is a laid-back style of worship featuring a live band performing upbeat, contemporary Christian music. The message is simulcast live from the church to the Family Life Center.

Rev. Doug Preston said the non-traditional service has been designed specifically for those who don’t feel they fit in with traditional church services. It is truly a “come as you are” service where anyone can feel comfortable.

“After we started our Celebrate Recovery program Friday nights, we were hearing from people who were uncomfortable in a traditional church service. This service is a result of those requests,” said Rev. Preston.
