First Baptist to host global webcast of Bible study

GREENSBURG – First Baptist Church will be hosting a live simulcast with celebrated Bible teacher and speaker Beth Moore Sept. 14.

The event will start with check-in and a continental breakfast at 8:45 a.m. The simulcast, which will be presented on a large screen and shown via internet, will feature Moore speaking. Moore is known for her best-selling Bible study books, as well as her books for women.

Moore has been involved with the church since her early life and learned to love storytelling as a child in her father’s movie theater. She discovered that she loved all aspects of storytelling, telling them, writing them, and having them told to her. Though the stories captured her imagination, the one that captured her heart was the story of Jesus.

Beth is often called a woman of purpose, preparation, prayer and passion. Blessed with a lifelong love of the Lord, Beth founded Living Proof Ministries in 1994 with the purpose of teaching women how to love and live on God’s word. Since founding Living Proof Ministries, her teachings have expanded across the world, reaching out to people in many different countries, sharing God’s word and uplifting women all over the globe.

Roughly 250,000 women around the world will be tuning in to view Moore’s live simulcast on the 14th. Any women interested are invited to register for the event and come together for a Saturday of worship and anointed Bible teaching that will leave them refreshed and spiritually recharged.

The simulcast will start at 9:30 a.m. and will last until 4:30 p.m. Tickets are available at a cost of $15 and participants will be expected to provide their own lunches. Lifeway Christian Resources, a Nashville based publishing company, sponsors the Living Proof Live Simulcast. Through the simulcast, Beth is able to share her passionate Bible teachings and dynamic storytelling with people all over the world.
