Liberty Baptist Church

Sunday, Sept. 8

Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. The Thankful Hearts class lesson will be “God’s Image: Male And Female,” taken from Genesis 2:18-25. Devotional Reading: Psalm 8, and Background Reading: Genesis 1, 2, and 5:1,2

We welcome all to come join in a wonderful time of sharing and learning.

Church service will be in the Sanctuary at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert (Bob) Leitgabel bringing the message. This week’s sermon will conclude the series on emotions with “Happiness and Joy” from Philippians 4:4-9. We welcome all to come join us for a time of worship, praise, prayer, and fellowship. Sept. 15

Liberty Baptist Church will share a joint service at the Youth camp at Westport with Sunday School beginning at 9:30 and Church Services beginning at 10:30 a.m.. All who are interested are welcome to come join us.

Now do you believe me? Doesn’t it seem more and more like fall is just around the corner? As I write this, it is cool enough to require a light sweater or jacket. Don’t want to think about “Ole Man Winter” just around the corner. Seems like we’re “rounding those corners” faster and faster each day. That means we just need to be sure we’re doing our best to be a good witness each day. Our days go so quickly we must always be ready to speak up and share our Faith.

One way you can share your Faith is by telling/reading a story with our children during the 10 a.m. traditional worship service. They all eagerly look forward to gathering down front to hear those stories that help them learn about God and discover ways they/we can try to live a good life for Him.
