North Decatur Junior High School traveled to Osgood Monday afternoon and returned with two victories.

The seventh grade jumped out to a 9-3 lead and built a 22-9 advantage at the last break, before coasting to a 30-16 victory.

Leading the way for North Decatur were Brock Ricke with 13 points and Josh Weintraut who had 10 points and 16 rebounds. Others scoring for North Decatur were Clay Bedel and Derrick Welton with two points each and Jonathon Nobbe who scored three points.

David Bokelman handed out two assists as everyone contributed to the win.

The eighth grade team blanked the junior Eagles 16-0 in the first period and the Eagles never hit double figures until the final stanza as the Chargers pulled off a 41-11 victory.

The Chargers were led by John Hammersmith with 15 points. Other scoring by North Decatur was Taylor Campos seven points; Zach Meyer six; Jason Kirchhoff, Thomas Shobe and Brandon Hocker three points each and Kevin Geis and Dakota Schmidt two.

Kirchhoff added six assists and Dylan Koors hauled in five rebounds.
