Greensburg and Milan fought to a one-all tie in a game called because of wet weather after seven innings.
The Pirates and Milan both plated a run in the fifth inning with Greensburg scoring Chris Denton on Mitch Adams’ third base hit of the game. The Pirates collected only five hits in the game as Milan’s Chris Waller registered 13 strikeouts.
He was nearly matched by Chris Blankman who retired 12 Milan hitters on strikes over the six innings he worked. Blankman gave up just two hits.
Noah Vanderbur struck out one and gave up one hit in his one inning of work.
