Jac-Cen-Del posted a 2-0 win over South Decatur Wednesday in
sectional action.
“We played a good ball game tonight. Our defense held up for us but
on offense we just couldn't find the holes,” reported Coach Lisa Huff.
“We hit the ball hard but right at JCD and they made the plays. It is a
tough way to end a season but we had a good season. We will miss our six
seniors a lot.”
The Eagles scored all the runs they would need when they plated
two in the second inning as K. Ricke held the Cougars to four
hits on the night.
Collecting the hits for South were Jamie Huff, Ashleigh Ewing and
Krista Galloway who had two singles.
