North Decatur traveled to Southwestern High School in Shelby

County and came home with volleyball victories in both the varsity

and junior varsity contest.

The Lady Chargers posted a three-game win over Southwestern by

scores of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-16.

Statistically Jill Hammersmith hit 27-of-32 with eight kills and had a

block and two digs; Mindy Koors received 26-of-26 shots and had 10

digs; Erica Stevens received 6-of-6 with four digs; Alyson Hoeing

received 4-of-4, hit 12-of-13 with a kill and had three digs; Clair Metz

continued her good hitting as she served 15-of-15 with an ace, hit

29-of-31 with 16 kills and had a block and two digs; Courtney

Schroder served 9-of-9, received 10-of-10 and had six digs; Gina

Catanese served 3-of-3, received 3-of-4 and had five digs; Kylie

McKinney served 13-of-13 with three aces, hit 11-of-13 with five kills
