Greensburg native offers a ‘jewel’ of a book

Adam Huening

One former Greensburg resident is taking her love for the world and showing everyone how she believes they are jewels in the crown of Christ through a new book, and she’ll be on hand in the city to spread her message personally.

A Greensburg native who now lives in Ohio, Linda Cruz, daughter of Eugene and Helen Jackson, has just released her first book, “All His Jewels: From Glory to Glory,” which explores the depths of the cosmic conflict and enforces her belief that “humans are the greatets treasure.” Cruz will be in town for a booksigning from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 13 at Rainbow Books and Gifts to share her thoughts and stories.

“In a bling-bling society, this book reminds us that human beings are the greatest treasures on earth and are the true "blood diamonds" that have been purchased by Christ. As the book traces jewels from the Garden of Eden to the New Jerusalem, readers will learn the secret of the jewels, their eternal destiny, and how to prepare for the apocalypse and the greatest explosion of glory ever,” her press release states.

Through traditional Christian mysticism, Cruz uses her own personal experiences to explain this analogy.

“The mission of the book is to awaken humanity to a spiritual awareness of God's loving view of us as His precious jewels created to manifest His glory. My hope is that readers will understand that God has a beautiful purpose and destiny for every person because each is created in the image of God with the capacity to reflect great wisdom and beauty,” Cruz said.

She said her book offers a different perspective on the church “and views it as being the center of cosmic conflict because the bejeweled church is replacing Lucifer (now satan) who was once the bejeweled archangel who led all of heaven in worship.” She noted these revelations came to her after many hours of praying, researching, and studying this topic. He hope is that people will emrabce an enriched understanding of how God’s love spreads to each person.

Ordained by Vineyard Christian Fellowship and Foursquare Gospel Church, Cruz has more than 25 years' experience as a pastor and church planter. She has organized and spoken at various retreats and conferences. Her degrees include a bachelor’s in English from Indiana Wesleyan University and a

master of divinity from Regent University.

Her book can also be obtained through her website, www.allhisjewels.org. Booking arrangements for speaking engagements and media kits can also be accessed through the website or by phone, 419-346-2997.
