Sept. 6

Free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Greensburg Adult Center courtesy of Decatur Home Health Care.

St. John's Lutheran Church of Napoleon will host its monthly ÒCoffee SocialÓ featuring ham, German potato salad, homemade coffee cakes and more. Event begins at 4:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome. Carry-outs available.

ÒBook BuddiesÓ program for grades K to 2 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library. Book is ÒWho's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?Ó

Sept. 8

Greensburg Masonic Lodge hosts all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Lodge is located on East Central Avenue, just east of Greensburg Community High School. Serving eggs any way you like them, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy and all the trimmings. Cost is $5 donation for adults and $3 for children under 12. Carry-outs available.

Sept. 9

The DCMH Walk for Diabetes Team is sponsoring a Basket Bingo fundraiser at 1 p.m. at Greensburg's American Legion. Bingo starts at 2 p.m.

All proceeds go to the American Diabetes Association, a national organization which works to help improve the lives of people with diabetes through research and education.

At 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, come to Lighthouse Chapel and sing with Inspirations by Faith. Lighthouse Chapel is located on CR 700 South. Welcome to all and enjoy the blessings of the Lord. Contact Pastor Lee Creech at 812-663-8074.

Sept. 10

The monthly Alzheimer's Support Group will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library. Anyone and everyone with questions or concerns are welcome to attend.

Sept. 11

Monthly pitch-in dinner at Greensburg Adult Center. Josh Giley provides entertainment after dinner.
