June 28

Daughters of Isabella will be having their regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Hosting the meeting will be Diann Reisman and Julie Nobbe.

June 29

The Greensburg/Decatur County Farmers' Market will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. Fridays, through Oct. 12, on the Courthouse Square.

Country Mark Fuel Station hosts "Fueling Freedom," with $.50 for every gallon of fuel pumped and $1 of every gallon of lubricants sold on site being donated to local National Guard Troops. Event begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. at 1001 North Lincoln Street.

Miss Decatur County Queen Contest begins at 7 p.m. at Greensburg Junior High School.

July 5

St. John's Lutheran Church of Napoleon will have their monthly "Coffee Social" (ham, German hot potato salad, homemade coffee cakes, etc.) Serving starts at 4:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome.  Carry-outs available.

July 6

Registration deadline for Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Space Day at Decatur County Fairgrounds. To register contact Sara Crain at 317-924-6890.

July 7

Women's Club will hold flea market from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., coffee and donuts from 8 to 10 a.m., bake sale from 8 to 10 a.m., corn hole tournament from 9 a.m. to noon, more scheduled events from 10 a.m. to noon, Kiwanis Club barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and fireworks at dusk. All events take place at Lake Santee.

July 9

The monthly meeting of the Alzheimer's Support Group will take place at 4 p.m. at the Greensburg Public Library. Everyone is welcome. Questions: Contact Nancy (or Robert) Middendorf at 663-5054. The support group meets the second Monday of every month.
