The annual 4th of July parade will begin at 10 a.m. The parade will begin on Franklin street in front of Porter Funeral Home and proceed to the Courthouse square, ending in the parking lot of Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Participants should line up at 9:15 a.m.
St. John's Lutheran Church of Napoleon will have their monthly ÒCoffee SocialÓ (ham, German hot potato salad, homemade coffee cakes, etc.) Serving starts at 4:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome. Carry-outs available.

Women's Club will hold flea market from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., coffee and donuts from 8 to 10 a.m., bake sale from 8 to 10 a.m., corn hole tournament from 9 a.m. to noon, more scheduled events from 10 a.m. to noon, Kiwanis Club barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and fireworks at dusk. All events take place at Lake Santee.
Knights of Columbus will host a Friday meal of smoked pork chops with two sides or a tenderloin dinner with two sides from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.
The monthly meeting of the Alzheimer's Support Group will take place at 4 p.m. at the Greensburg Public Library. Everyone is welcome. Questions: Contact Nancy (or Robert) Middendorf at 663-5054. The support group meets the second Monday of every month.

Puppy Pillows for Riley Hospital for Children will be stuffed and sewn at the fair in the Farm and Home Building at 11 a.m. The extension homemakers welcome all who can come help with the finishing of more than 600 pillows we have ready.
