1 p.m. - Euchre and bridge at Greensburg Adult Center.

1:30 p.m. - Canasta at Greensburg Adult Center.

6 to 8 p.m. - Adult beginning computer series at library: introduction to operating systems, organizing files.

6 p.m. - Early bird book sale for members of Friends of the Library.

Make and Thursday at library. Stop by and create a monster mask.

Oct. 18

9 a.m. - Book sale sponsored by Friends of the Library.

1:30 p.m. - Bowling at Greensburg Adult Center.

6:30 p.m. - Bridge at Greensburg Adult Center.

Oct. 19

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Women Just Want to Have Fun Day at Decatur County Extension Homemakers Office. Event will feature presentations on Hospice, button jewelry, cloth bowls, pin cushions, a microwave potholder and Christmas decorations.

Lunch of soup and sandwiches will be served with dessert for $6. For more information, call 662-6841.

4 to 8 p.m. - American Legion Post 129 will hold its fifth annual hog roast. Meals are $8. There will be a dance afterward, from 8 p.m. to midnight. Admission is free. Event is open to the public.
