Local clubs, service groups, fraternal organizations and others are encouraged to send their Coming Events information to the Daily News at or Daily News, PO Box 106, Greensburg, IN 47240.

June 26

4 to 10 p.m. - Special Olympics of Decatur County will receive a donation of 10 percent of total net sales from Dairy Queen on sponsor night. This donation will assist in providing uniforms, tournament fees, travel expenses and much more for Special Olympics athletes.

June 27

2 p.m. - Leonardo’s Music program at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library.

7 p.m. - Town hall meeting at the Parish Hall of St. Maurice Catholic Church in St. Maurice. The reason for this meeting is for the residents of St. Maurice and the surrounding area to talk and ask questions on possible ways of getting safe drinking water into the community. Representatives from Napoleon Rural Water and Decatur County Rural Water will be present.

All day - Make and Take program at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library. Crackers will be decorated in red, white and blue, while supplies last.

June 28

2 p.m. - Farmer’s Market on the courthouse square.

June 28 and June 29

Tower Tree Truck Classic Show at Decatur County fairgrounds. Light show at dusk Friday. Admission is free and activities will be provided for children. Food is also available throughout the show.

June 29

1 to 7 p.m. - Cancer benefit for Jack Garwood at American Legion Post 129. Dinner and carry-outs available for beef and noodles or chicken and noodles, with sides of mashed potatoes, corn or green beans, dinner roll, dessert and coffee, tea or lemonade. Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children. Children under 5 eat free. The band Monarch will play downstairs, in the bar area, from 8 p.m. to midnight.

June 30

8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The 24th annual Tree City Classics Car Show will be held at Rebekah Park, Greensburg, come rain or shine. Proceeds from this year’s show will benefit Ayden Billingsley, a local boy diagnosed with DNA Depletion Syndrome. The event will include dash plaques, a disc jokey, door prizes, pedal car drags and concessions. In addition to the top 50 trophies, there will also be awards for Best Bike, Best Truck, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best of Show and others.
