April 9

1 to 3 p.m. - Euchre at Greensburg Adult Center.

1:30 p.m. - Kindergarten pre-registration for Greensburg Elementary School for the 2013-2014 school year in the GES cafeteria. No appointment necessary. Please bring child’s birth certificate, immunization records, at least two emergency telephone numbers and custody papers. Children must be five years old by Aug. 1, 2013. Meeting is for parents only.

5 p.m. - City of Greensburg Animal Control Board meets at City Hall.

5 to 8 p.m. - Teen Movie Tuesday at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library. Movie is The Hobbit, presentation includes popcorn and drinks.

6:30 p.m. - Good Shepherd Christian Academy Spring program at First Baptist Church sanctuary. Pre-school through sixth-graders will perform.

7 p.m. - Good Shepherd Christian Academy Science Fair in First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

7:15 p.m. - Informational kindergarten meeting in the Good Shepherd Christian Academy kindergarten class room. Child-care is provided. Parents of 2013-2014 kindergarten students who attend will receive $50 off their August tuition. Information about scholarships and school choice opportunities will be shared.

April 10

1 to 3 p.m. - Euchre at Greensburg Adult Center.

Decatur County Community Foundation (DCCF) provides small project grants in the amount of $1,500 or less. Organizations seeking the grant should be a 501 (c) 3 not for profit entity, an educational institution or a governmental entity. If not, the organization must find a qualified agency or entity to act as the fiscal agent.

Terms and conditions of the grants, along with the application, can be found on the Foundation website, which is www.dccfound.org.

Small project grants will be accepted at any time, and grant applications received by the 10th day of each month will be reviewed by the Board of Directors in the following month. Grant applications will be returned to the applicant if any item is incomplete. For further questions, call 662-6364.

6:30 to 8 p.m. - Patriots Assembly at the Greensburg Public Library.

The presentation is titled "The Influence of the Bible on the United States Constitution." The presentation is for teens and adults and is open to the public and free of charge.
