Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library closed in observance of Labor Day.

Sept. 3

9 to 11 a.m. - Greensburg Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) will host their last meeting of the fall at the Community Church of Greensburg. Childcare is provided and all denominations are welcome.

Please join us on the first and third Tuesdays of the month (September to May) for two full hours of "mommy time." This includes breakfast, sharing, creative activities and speakers.

4:30 p.m. - St. John's Lutheran Church of Napoleon have their monthly coffee social consisting of ham, German potato salad, homemade coffee cakes and more. Serving starts at 4:30 p.m.; carryouts welcome.

2 p.m. - Farmer's Market on the courthouse square.

Sept. 7

Arts and Cultural Council of Decatur County hosts music festival at High Point Orchard.

Sept. 12

6 p.m. - Decatur County writers workshop and roundtable at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library.

2 p.m. - Farmer's Market on the courthouse square.

4:30 to 8:30 p.m. - "Junk in Your Trunk" garage sale on Washington Street, behind City Hall. Cost is $10 and space is limited. Fee will be donated to Greensburg Bread of Life.

7 p.m. - Hot dog roast for grades 6 to 12 at library.

Dusk - Second Friday Movie Series on the Square presents Disney-Pixar's Toy Story.

Sept. 14

9:30 a.m. - Beth Moore simulcast at First Baptist Church of Greensburg. Check-in and continental breakfast at 8:45 a.m. Tickets are available in the church office from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday thru Friday. The cost is $15 per person. The church can be reached at 663-3778.

Sept. 15

8 a.m. to noon - Country breakfast at St. Maurice Parish Hall, St. Maurice. Breakfast is a free will offering and biscuits and sausage gravy, whole hog sausage, eggs, potatoes, fruit, juice, milk, coffee and homemade pastries. All proceeds will be donated to Fr. Dennis Moorman's work with Maryknoll Missions.
