2 p.m. - Farmer's Market on the courthouse square.

Aug. 5

Sonshine Christian Preschool in New Point begins its 2013-2014 school year. To register, call 669-3-9375.

1 to 6:30 p.m. - St. Maurice Church, Napoleon, is sponsoring a community blood drive at the Parish Activity Center. All donors will received a Hoxworth Summer t'-shirt.

Aug. 7

8:45 to 9:30 a.m. - Columbus Star Quilter's Guild will hold a special meeting. The meeting will be an auction of the items from the generous sewing stash donation made by Carol Duncan. It will be held at the Masonic Lodge at 4131 Rocky Ford Road, Columbus. There is no charge to attend the auction.

9:15 a.m. - Public Hearing on Cumulative Cap property tax increase in City Hall council chambers.

Aug. 8

11:30 a.m. - Annual Bohn Aluminum and Brass Division Lunch at Greensburg Country Club/McCamment's. Meet at 11:30 a.m.; lunch buffet at noon.

Aug. 9

2 p.m. - Farmer's Market on the courthouse square.

4:30 to 8:30 p.m. -"Junk in Your Trunk" garage sale on Washington Street, behind City Hall. Cost is $10 and space is limited. Fee will be donated to New Directions.

Dusk - Second Friday Movie Series on the Square presents Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Aug. 10

7 to 10 a.m. - Greensburg Masonic Lodge will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast. Cost is a donation of $5 for adults and $3 for kids under 12. Carry-outs are available.

1 p.m. - Franklin County Democratic Party will host its third annual Sixth District Democratic Rally at the Franklin County Hilltop Shelter. Event is free and includes a cookout, entertainment, fun for kids and several elected officials as speakers. For questions, call Tom Vohland at 513-593-2345.
