Space Day for Girl Scouts of Central Indiana from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Decatur County Fairgrounds.

Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library ChildrenÕs Room offers Make and Take Craft ÒBack to SchoolÓ program. Event runs all day, while supplies last.

Water and Shaving Cream Extravaganza from 1 to 3 p.m. at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library. Teens will play shaving cream whiffle ball, water games and more.

New Point Volunteer Fire Department annual chicken dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Adults are $9, children 4 to 10 are $4, 3 and under are free. Carry-outs are $10.

Decatur County Health Department immunization clinic will be held at 801 N. Lincoln Street, Greensburg. Call (812) 663-8301 for times and eligibility.

St. MaryÕs Catholic Faith Question and Answer session at 7 p.m. at the church.

Free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings courtesy of Decatur Home Health Care from 11:30 a.m. to noon at Greensburg Adult Center. Service is available to anyone in the community over the age of 50.

Aug. 3

Springhill Presbyterian Church pork chop supper from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Clarksburg Fire Station. Cost is $8 per person. Kids under 10 eat free.

The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 1219 South Michigan Avenue, will hold a Spaghetti Supper from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Spaghetti and all the trimmings will be served, with takeouts available. The charge is a free-will offering. For more information, call 663-8192.

Spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Dine in and carry-outs welcome. Menu is baked spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and drink. Proceeds benefit local Special Olympics.
