7:30 p.m. - Daughters of Isabella will host its regular meeting at the Knights of Columbus Hall, with a rosary being said at 7 p.m. Hosting the meeting will be Laura Jo Tebbe and Angie Wesseler.
1 to 3 p.m. - Historical Society of Decatur County will host a fundraising ice cream social at the Museum on Franklin, across from the post office. Event will offer homemade ice cream for sale. Old time games will be set up for children to play and musical entertainment will be provided by "Scoop" and the Guys.
1:30 p.m. - Join us Downtown for the second annual Adult Big Wheel 5 Mile race in honor of Greensburg’s own Carl Fisher. Teams will again relay around the courthouse square for prizes, a trophy, and most of all bragging rights! Feel the rush of a Big Wheel burn out, and re-live a part of your youth!
10 a.m. - Annual Memorial Day program at South Park Cemetery presented by American Legion Post 129 and the VFW. Daily News columnist Pat Smith will provide the keynote address. Those involved will assemble at 9:30 a.m.
Noon - Free lunch for all veterans at American Legion Post 129, sponsored by American Legion Post 129 Ladies Auxiliary.
10 a.m. - Crossroads Community Church celebrates its 40th anniversary with music and special speakers. Present Pastory Tracy McIntyre, Founding Pastor Earl Goff and Co-Founding Pastor Dick Aylor are featured speakers for the day. Event also includes a pictorial history display, catered meal, cornhole games, volleyball, basketball and children's bounce houses.
11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Annual Decatur County United Fund Strawberry Festival on the south side of the courthouse. First Presbyterian church is the rain location. Delivery available on orders of 10 or more. For more information, call 812-663-3342.
