The monthly meeting of the Alzheimer's Support Group will take place at 4 p.m. at the Greensburg Public Library. Everyone is welcome. Questions: Contact Nancy (or Robert) Middendorf at 663-5054. The support group meets the second Monday of every month.

Meals for Better Living program at 1 p.m. at Greensburg Adult Center. Program fee is $10. For more information, call Shelia Woods at 866-644-6407, ext. 2763.

Knit Night at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library from 6 to 8 p.m.

July 11

Decatur County Health Department immunization clinic will be held at 801 N. Lincoln Street, Greensburg. Call (812) 663-8301 for times and eligibility.

Blood drive at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. More information at www.indianablood.org.

July 12

Open Class crafts, needlework, crocheting, knitting, antiques, scrapbook, quilts, sewing, other crafts, ugly hat, collections and photography in the Farm and Home building from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Judging at noon.

Make and Take Craft ÒSweet Ice Cream TreatsÓ at Greensburg Decatur County Public Library. Kids can make an ice cream magnet and enjoy a scoop of ice cream. Event lasts as long as supplies do and is located in Children's Room.

July 13

Open Class flowers from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Farm and Home building. Judging at noon.

July 14

McQueen Reunion at 2 p.m. at the Park Square shelter in Hope for descendants of William (Doc) and Carmen and Ruby McQueen.

July 16

Open Class baking and food preservation in the Farm and Home building from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Judging at noon.

Auction of champion food exhibits at 6 p.m.

Pie eating contest at 6:30 p.m. on Ivy Tech free stage at fairgrounds.

 

July 17

Puppy Pillows for Riley Hospital for Children will be stuffed and sewn at the fair in the Farm and Home Building at 11 a.m. The extension homemakers welcome all who can come help with the finishing of more than 600 pillows we have ready. You can come and go as you desire, but you will need to bring your own thimble. We will have the needles, thread, and Òconversations.Ó If questions, call Janet Bedel at 663-4563.

City of Greensburg Water Board meets at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

City of Greensburg Board of Zoning Appeals meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

City of Greensburg Plan Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.
