Feb. 28

Mancino’s Grinders will donate 20 percent of diners’ total ticket price to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Decatur County. Promotion lasts all day. Info at 663-8888.

March 1

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Fifth annual chili cook-off at Greensburg Adult Center. Cost is $5. Chili is prepared by local chefs, business and dignitaries. Guests may vote for their favorite. Proceeds benefit Greensburg Adult Center and its nutrition program.

Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department will host fish fry. There will be breaded tenderloin or all-you-can-eat whitefish. Sides include French fries, applesauce, baked beans and a drink. Carry-outs available. There will be a 50/50 raffle.

March 3

Buffalo Wings and Rings will donate 10 percent of diners’ total ticket price to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Decatur County. Promotion lasts all day. Info at 222-9464.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake at Parkside Lanes.

March 4

7 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Uniform sale in Classroom D of DCMH. All proceeds benefit DCMH Auxiliary, and the ladies will be offering a bake sale that day.

March 8

5 to 8 p.m. - New Point Community Volunteer Fire Department hosts all-you-can-eat fish fry. Cost for adults is $8; cost for children 10 and under is $4.

7 p.m. - Oldenburg Academy Drama Club presents “The Beverly Hillbillies,” a comedy based on the popular 1960s TV series, in the OA auditorium. Tickets may be purchased at the door on show nights. Prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
