Oct. 24

6:30 p.m. - Daughters of Isabella will hold their anniversary and salad bar dinner at Greensburg’s Knights of Columbus. Please bring a salad or dessert. Sharanne Duerstock and Nickie Colson are chairpersons for the evening.

Greensburg’s Chili’s will donate 10 percent of your total bill to the Decatur County United Fund.

Oct. 25

11 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Holy Trinity Church will hold its annual chili supper and bazaar. Adults are $6; children 6 to 12 are $4. Money raised is used for Ladies Aid Mission Projects.

4:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Fall Harvest dinner at Greensburg Adult Center. Menu includes twice baked potato casserole, green beans, cranberry salad, roll, dessert and beverage.

Cost is $8 for adults, $3.50 for children 5 to 13, under 5 free.

6:30 to 8 p.m. - Bats and Boo..ks! Family Halloween Program at library.

7 p.m. - Ghost Walk begins. Event is a series of ghost stories and skits presented by the Decatur County Historical Society.

Oct. 26

Davis and Daughters Quick Lube will donate $20 of oil change to Decatur County United Fund.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - American Red Cross Community Blood Drive at Greensburg Family YMCA on the “Blood Bus.” South Decatur Junior/Senior High School earns scholarship money for each donor.

1 to 4 p.m. - Children’s Spook Tour at Decatur County Historical Museum. Event features games, story-telling, fortune tellers, face painting, a performance of Hansel and Gretel and fun for the whole family. Admission is free.

4 to 7 p.m. - Whistleberry Stew Festival at New Point Community Building.

4 to 8 p.m. - Sandcreek Baptist Church annual soup supper. Menu consists of chili, tacos, bean and potato soup, corn chowder, oyster stew and homemade desserts. Info at 663-3009.
