Jan. 11

7 p.m. - Take Shape for Life presentation at the Hampton Inn. Program is free and focuses on goal-setting for life changes and weight loss.

Jan. 12

6:30 p.m. - New Point Volunteer Fire Department presents Hot Wax '50s and '60s Revue at Enochsburg Hall. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Dinner served from 5 to 6 p.m. All proceeds for New Point Volunteer Fire Department. Call 812-663-4793 after 4 p.m. for ticket info. Ask for Jenny.

Jan. 14

4 p.m. - Alzheimer's Support Group will meet at the Greensburg Public Library. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Jan. 15

Noon - Crafts with Connie Webster at Greensburg Adult Center.

Make and Take Tuesday at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library, while supplies last.

Jan. 16

7 to 9 a.m. - Margaret Mary Hospital will provide free cholesterol screenings at the New Point Community Center. Those wishing to be tested should fast for 12 hours prior to the screening. For more information, call Mary at 812-614-0901.

Jan. 17

E-Reader Rescue at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library. Drop in all day.

Jan. 18

11:45 a.m. - Greensburg Adult Center trip to Troyer's Amish Store after lunch, weather permitting.

7 to 9 p.m. - Girls Night Out (grades 6 to 12) at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library.

Jan. 22

6 p.m. - E-reader workshop at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library.

Jan. 25

5 to 8 p.m. - St. Mary's Alumni and Friends Association (SMAFA) is sponsoring their annual Chili Supper and Carnival. Chili, hot dogs, cookies and drinks will be served from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Event also includes kids games, an auction, a raffle, etc.

Jan. 28

5 p.m. - Make a fashion scarf (grades 4 to 6) at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library.

Jan. 29

1 to 3 p.m. - Greensburg Adult Center dance with "Scoop" and The Guys.
