Greensburg — The Springhill Womens Association met March 28 at the home of Nita McCoy.

Devotions and the program for the evening were taken from the secretary reports from the 1920s and 1930s.

Cindy Beard opened the business portion of the gathering.

Lou Martin gave the treasurers report and it was decided to make a donation to help update the manse for the new minister, Rev. Shannon Burford and his family.

Donations of trash bags for New Directions were collected.

Much of the discussion for the evening concerned the Spring Gathering of Presbyterian Women of the White Water Valley Presbytery. This will be held at Springhill April 28. A continental breakfast will be served along with a catered luncheon. Reservations are to be sent to Cindy as soon as possible. The group worked on favors to be given away at the gathering.

The next gathering will be April 25 at the home of Melba Wicker. This will be a joint pitch-in dinner with the Mens Group.
