---- — Setting an example

Dear Editor:

Today (March 20), as I was going to Chili’s for lunch with my mom and sister, I saw a cop car in front of me drop a cigarette butt on the ground and drove away.

I don’t think that this is right because cops should all be role models and they are supposed to help instead of hurt the town. In case you were wondering, it was cop car number 2886.

Anyone who is caught littering can be arrested and I think that this policy should be followed no matter who it is. Rules are rules, and they should not be lenient on who it is.

I find this offensive, and I am sure someone somewhere out there is, too! We only have one world, so let’s make the best of it.

Pick up that cigarette, cop car number 2886!
