St. Mary's Youth Ministry, Bread of Life grateful for help

Greensburg Daily News

---- — Dear Editor:

On behalf of Bread of Life and St. Mary’s Youth Ministry, a big THANK YOU goes out to everyone who took part in the Trick-or-Treat food drive last night. It was a record breaking year on both fronts...bringing in a total of 5721 lbs of food and $1352.61. To the 145 students who canvased the town and went door-to-door, thank you for your time and serving others in this manner. You looked GREAT! To the over 100 adults who either drove the kids around or worked to weigh and sort the donations, thank you...for your support of the kids, for your support of this cause, and for believing in something bigger than who we are. And to those who donated, either food, money or both...thank you for not only opening your door, but for opening your hearts as well. It just goes to show that, “Many hands make light work.” When we all pitch in and work together, great things can be accomplished. May God so richly bless each and everyone of you...and Bread of Life!
