Archer parents grateful to Kovacich, Stricker

Dear Editor:

As a proud mother of a Greensburg archer, I would like to say thank you to Darci Kovacich and Tom Stricker for making it possible for the GJHS Archery Team to compete in the World Competition in St. Louis, Mo.

Without all their hard work with fundraisers, getting sponsors and making arrangements, the trip would have been just a dream instead of a reality.

Darci went above and beyond what was expected, making sure the archers had snacks, drinks and meals for the trip. She also made arrangements for the zoo and a visit to the Arch. It was a chance of a lifetime for some who may have never been able to experience that otherwise.

Darci and Tom even had a pizza party for the team the night before the big day. It was a nice way to unwind after the long drive.

As with any trip, it had a few glitches, but Darci and Tom handled those with ease, and I applaud them for being able to do that. It wasn’t easy pleasing 23 archers and several adults.

Thanks again, Darci and Tom, for making the trip to the NASP World Competition in St. Louis a success.

Sincerely,

Susie Murray,

Greensburg
