Decatur County Events Calendar

Local clubs, service groups, fraternal organizations and others are encouraged to send their Coming Events information to the Daily News at news@greensburgdailynews.com or Daily News, PO Box 106, Greensburg, IN 47240.

Feb. 13

10 a.m. - Decatur County Council and Decatur County Commissioners will be meeting in a special joint-session at the courthouse in room 106. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss various reinsurance options available for county health insurance.

1:30 to 3 p.m. - Crochet club at Greensburg Adult Center.

5 to 8 p.m. - “Valentine’s Day isn’t Just for Couples” at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library. Make heart ornaments for the residents of Arbor Grove Village and deliver them to residents of Arbor Grove from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Return to the library for pizza and drinks.

6 p.m. - Decatur County Redevelopment Commission meets at Decatur County Courthouse.

6:30 p.m. - $5 Euchre Tourney at Greensburg Adult Center.

7:30 p.m. - Lois Chapter #147, Order of the Eastern Star, meets at Masonic Lodge at 1100 East central Avenue.

All Day - Stones in Millhousen hosts “Dine for Kids Sake” to benefit Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Decatur County. Restaurant will donate 10 percent of each customer’s bill to BBBS.

Feb. 14

1:30 p.m. - Greensburg Adult Center bowling at Greensburg Adult Center.

1:30 p.m. - Bridge class at Greensburg Adult Center.

6 p.m. - Mystery Dinner at Greensburg Adult Center. Come enjoy dinner and help solve the mystery of the evening. Cost is $8 and reservations are needed. For more information, call Connie McCracken at 663-3531.

6:30 p.m. - Bridge at Greensburg Adult Center.

Feb. 15

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. - E-Day electronics recycling program sponsored by Decatur County Solid Waste Management at Decatur County Fairgrounds.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - St. Paul Kiwanis Chili Dinner at St. Paul Civic Center. This event is a free-will offering.

5 p.m. to midnight - Wine and Beer Taste Fest at Greensburg Knights of Columbus. Features music by Catfish Davis and the Funk and Blues band. More info at 614-1867 or 593-1540.
