Hall of Fame tickets being sold Thursday

Greensburg athletic director Bill Edwards is still selling tickets to the Hall of Fame tournament as Greensburg attempts to have a large crowd at the prestigious tournament to root for the Pirates. Tickets can be bought for $10 in the athletic department office at the high school on Thursday, Dec. 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, or from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Greensburg Pirates boys basketball team will participate in the prestigious City Securities Hall of Fame Classic on Saturday, Dec. 28. Greensburg will play Mt. Vernon in the first game (11 a.m.) followed by Columbus North versus Evansville Harrison. The consolation game between the two losing teams will be held at 6 p.m. followed by the championship game.

There are no assigned seats and there is not a limit on the number of tickets a person can purchase and they are for sale to all people.

If tickets remain at the door on the day of the tournament, they will cost $20. Greensburg wants to have a tremendous amount of fans at the Classic, so purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

North girls rescheduled for Jan. 9

The North Decatur girls varsity and JV basketball games at Eastern Hancock were rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 9, with the JV starting at 6 p.m.

North boys at Edinburgh postponed

No make-up date has been set for the North Decatur boys varsity/JV games at Edinburgh, postponed Saturday, Dec. 14 because of weather.
