Logistics Firm Bringing Jobs to Decatur County

Greensburg — One Solution Logistics of Indiana, Inc., a logistics supply company, announced today that it will expand its operations at Honda's Greensburg plant, creating up to 191 jobs by 2012.

The company, which is the sole supplier of parts to Honda's plant in Greensburg, will be hiring production associates, yard drivers, team leaders and managerial support staff to meet the production demands of Honda’s recently announced second shift at the plant.

"Indiana is a national leader in the logistics industry because our workforce is able to quickly adapt as the business climate changes," said Governor Mitch Daniels. “One Solution Logistics has seen great success in Greensburg and this expansion is a good sign that Indiana’s economy continues to grow."

One Solution Logistics will continue to employ 169 full-time Indiana employees. The company plans to begin hiring new workers by the end of this month.

"Our growth has come as a result of Honda Manufacturing of Indiana's success, our ability to perform as a world class logistics supplier and, most importantly, a dedicated, committed workforce," said Randy Cyman, manager of associate services, One Solution Logistics of Indiana, Inc.

One Solution Logistics was formed in June 2007 to support the manufacturing of automobiles at the Honda Manufacturing facility in Greensburg, Ind. Dedication of its new 391,500 square-foot facility occurred on March 28, 2008.

"We're extremely pleased to see One Solution Logistics add 191 new jobs. I also applaud the management of OSL for their dedication to hiring people from Greensburg and Decatur County," said Greensburg Mayor Gary Herbert.

Decatur County Commissioner Jerome Buening stated, "Decatur County is very pleased, proud, and excited to learn of the expansion of job opportunities being created by One Solution Logistics. Congratulations to OSL!"

Rick Nobbe, Decatur County Commissioner said, "I want to thank OSL for this great news that provides city and county residents with new job opportunities. The City, County, and Economic Development Corporation are working together to assist this kind of business development and new job creation."

"One Solution Logistics is an outstanding company in our community. We appreciate the confidence that OSL has instilled in Greensburg/Decatur County and look forward to assisting their success for many years to come," said Steve Freeman, president of the Board of Directors for the Economic Development Corporation Greensburg/Decatur County.
