Girls sectional matchups set

The IHSAA Girls Sectional tournament drawings were announced Sunday afternoon.

The Greensburg girls drew a third meeting this season against Batesville in Game Two of the Batesville Sectional 29, Tuesday Feb. 11 at 7:30.

The North Decatur girls drew Austin for Game Two of the Milan Sectional 45, Tuesday Feb. 11 at 7:30.

The South Decatur girls play Shawe Memorial Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 in the Jac-Cen-Del Sectional 60.

GB 7A girls beat St. Louis

The Greensburg girls 7A Lady Pirates beat St. Louis on Thursday night 37-23. Morgan Peetz led the team with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 steals. Kirsten Adams added 5 points and 5 rebounds. Sydney Hogg and Madalyn Wickens each had 4 points. Abbey Gommel, Haylee Ott, and Anika Scripture each added 2 points.

Rushville pre-selling boys tickets

Rushville will be pre-selling tickets for Friday’s game, Feb. 7, against Greensburg.

Tickets went on sale Monday morning and will remain on sale through noon on Friday Feb. 7.

In all, 1,000 tickets were made available.
