A Monday morning accident at Honda resulted in injury to one person.
The accident involved an associate from WWL, Honda’s contracting company which loads cars onto trucks and rail cars for transport to dealers, according to a press release from Honda.
Honda representatives told the Daily News the injured individual was transported to receive medical attention following the incident Monday.
The press release also states Honda intends to investigate the matter further.
Honda clarified that the associate was not a Honda employee, but rather a worker associated with the contracting company.
The Daily News learned Monday that the associate was airlifted for treatment around 10 a.m. that morning.
